    Welcome to Icarus! 3
    Operator Introduction
Hi, I'm Jacks, one of the oldest remaining members currently on Renatus. I'm 16 and live in NSW, Australia. My character Jacks has been around since the first server and seen the rise and fall of Sevarna and the destruction of Atlas. The time I would host is usually in the afternoons of a weekday or most of the day Sunday if I'm not busy and no one else is hosting. I hope to see you in game!

    City background
The city of Icarus was created on the assumption that it was close to Col's Cradle, originally settled by monks from the Sanctuary of Dunatis much of it's old buildings and root's remain today. The monks were a peaceful people and were viewed as protectors of the environment, as of such vines and river systems still run throughout the city today and animals are only ever harmed for their resources. The city gets it's name from the journey Daedalus took to escape the prison he, and his son were kept in. When Icarus fell to his death Daedalus traveled for many days until he came upon the monks, who helped restore him to full health, with his son gone and no real place to go Daedalus helped build the city. With his skills and expertise the monks created some of the most unique buildings found throughout the world, the City's Original name has been lost but shortly after Daedalus' death the monks renamed the city after his son to honor the passing of the hero.

    City Location
Icarus is located close to the center-right of the map, it is along-side the great path that connects all the Cities. out of the way in a more remote location, Icarus' location remains a mystery to some and an everyday route to others. It's in close proximity to the village of Kofodshire.

    Building Rules
The monks of old would bring plans to Daedalus for an inspection before being placed in the city, so much so that it became a tradition. Any house or building need to be shown to the cities architect, the current architect is Jacks. Don't be discouraged by this, the architect simply looks to see if it is appropriate to have built, usually giving out advise and tips to better the building, this may give you more room inside your home. It also allows the architect to make sure your building isn't going outside the building limit.
    Plot sizes:
7x9 (100 ingots) - if you purchase a second plot of the same size you may take out the space in between and use both plots for the one builiding, eg. 19x9. Additional plot cost is 200 ingots. second plot can be reserved on the terms that it is payed off over time, when the plot has been payed for in full then the user can build on it, reservation requires 1st house plot to have already been purchased.
12x8 (125 ingots) - on ground level the building must remain in the building space given, but the second floor is given a small amount of overhang on the terms that it will not be affecting anything else.
9x13 (135 ingots) - The same rules apply as the 12x8 plot, except it is given additional spacing for overhang.

Market plots are free to use and hold no obligation to any one person.

    City Expansion
    Expansion 1
    > The above picture shows an overview of Icarus, from top to right of the city is a yellow marker. This is the wall outline and is to be built by the players, players will be given Materials if they request it to an admin. the players involved shall be rewarded in gold depending on how involved they were in it's construction.
    Expansion 2
    > The overview also shows an area between the yellow marker and the two large buildings, for every stack of materials brought to Jacks they players will be given gold nuggets or ingots, depending on what the material. The floor should be level with the 3rd tier of city. Constructions of a stone floor will proceed after leveling has been completed.

    Places of interest
-The inn is located on the first tier, embedded into the wall and behind the fountain of tranquility.
-The town hall is directly above the inn on the third tier and is the place of discussion if anything important is to be discussed.
-The market square is the the right of the town hall and is also on the third tier, this is where the market plots are located as well as a small park.
-The small castle is home to the architect and is one of the oldest buildings still standing to date, usage of the first floor is prohibited with permission. it is located on the second tier furthest to the left.[list=1][*]
