2.) Thetis

From the grassy plain South of the portal, you leave the village on its gravel road. A windmill and barn flank a giant field of golden wheat. You smell wild flowers and the salty ocean breeze as you approach the threshold of the elevated bridge over the river. The sound of your footfalls on the cobblestone floor echoes through the vast tower as you climb the stairs up to the elevated crossway. You stop in the middle of the bridge to get a view of the river, where a sailing vessel cruises slowly. Beyond, you see the stone castle where you arrived, and in the distance is a lush green forest. As you descend the other side of the bridge, you emerge into a bustling harbor town. Tall ships flank the docks just beyond the sturdy battlements encircling the low-lying island. The sounds of the ships creaking in their berths mingle with the strains of music coming from the inn up on the hill overlooking the ocean. In the center of the town is a large castle, which serves as a meeting place for the citizens of this world.
